3. Watch the sunset
Yes, the sun will always set but let’s take a minute to enjoy it without freezing to death or waiting for the clouds to pass. Whether you’re at the beach, on a mountain, by a lake or a hill, in a city or a field– find the best spots and take a minute to sit and watch the sky set on fire.
4. Enjoy an outdoor event
There are so many things to do in the summer; fairs, outdoor cinemas, sports games, concerts and local events. This is your chance. Get out and enjoy all the things to do in the summer in your area! Be a tourist for the day!
5. Explore your city, town, region
When we think of vacation or traveling, so often we’re dreaming of tropical getaways or cobblestone streets in Europe. However, there is usually so much to explore in your own city, town, county and region. Walk instead of taking public transportation, skip your usual lunch spot and try a new one, go on a hike or explore a neighboring town. Ice cream is basically synonyms to summer. Try all the flavors, add toppings, and add another scoop.
7. Hit up your local farmers market
One of the best things to do in the summer is exploring the local farmer’s market on warm weekend mornings. The variety of fresh fruits, freshly baked breads, and pastries, flowers and jams are endless. Support local farmers and businesses, and pick up a few of your weekly groceries at the farmers market this week!
8. White on white
While common knowledge is that white denim season ends once Labor Day hits, we strongly disagree. (HELLO WINTER WHITE) BUT for those of you who follow rules, get some white on white outfits together and get them on as often as possible.
